Independece Day

I've always wanted to make an American Flag. I believe my first desire was when I was sewing the most. But now that I'm spending most of my time crocheting, it will be in this craft.

I am using a pattern that is in the book, "Honoring Our Veterans" by Leisure Arts. I am using Caron Simply Soft Party yarn and I'm excited about it being completed with it's sparkles.

The end result will yield a flag that looks like this:
