This blog, as it is called today, journal (yesterday), diary (yester-year) was supposed to be in the making months ago. I am 56 years old and if God says the same, will be 57 a month from this date. If I were 21, I would consider myself old, but when we reach this age, we don't want to think that. I know I'm older and we'll leave it at that.
My intentions of keeping this record is that, today, I'm in my right mind. Who know what tomorrow brings? I feel myself getting older, in my body, in my mind, and certainly when I look around me!
Today I'm want to record the aging of methods of music. I still have in my possession 45s and LPs. I do believe my father still owns his reel to reel! When an 8-track came into my life, cassettes were on the rise! CDs then became a wonder. Then...
Cell phones were introduced!
I knew I was getting older when.....
My daughters and I were sharing time together, one of my favorite past times...no matter how they turn out! We talk about many things when we spend time together and the topics are changing! That's another blog to come! I was sharing with them about my search for a new car. My current car, 1995 Toyota Camry, has a cassette and CD player. Yes, yes, I know! However, I was sharing with the girls about me talking with the dealer about having a cassette/CD player. Okay, so they don't make those any more. I did think that CD players were still popular. But noooooo. My daughter's informed me that CD players were also going out!
It's those cell phones!
People are now putting their music on their cell phones!
Ummmm, right now, I still want a CD player!
